Together in one place” seems almost impossible in this day and age. There is so much that divides and so much work to be done. Joel’s prophecy seems so far away and t can be difficult to imagine, especially when the world seems so fragmented. Even still, the Spirit is moving, beckoning us all to become a part of this prophecy’s fulfillment.
Spend a moment in quiet reflection gathering “together in one place” the moments you’ve noticed the Spirit at work, whether in a big dramatic way, with a mighty rushing wind and tongues of fire, or a small glimpse of God’s dream, in a gentle breeze and flickering, yet persistent light.
