BWIM 2025 Annual Gathering

November 6-8, 2025

The Baptist Women in Ministry 2025 Annual Gathering convened November 6–8, 2025, at Second-Ponce de Leon Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, bringing together Baptist women in ministry, supporters, and partners for worship, learning, and community. A standout moment of the gathering was the plenary address by Rev. Dr. Cynthia L. Hale, who powerfully affirmed that women’s equality is a gospel issue, grounding the call for full affirmation of women’s leadership in Scripture and decades of pastoral wisdom.  Participants also engaged deeply with the release of the 20th-anniversary State of Women in Baptist Life Report, which presents current statistics and highlights six markers of congregations that empower women in ministry—calling congregations to reflection and intentional action toward equity.  The gathering fostered rich conversation, inspiration, and renewed commitment to advancing the full affirmation of women in ministry throughout Baptist life.
