SBC Amendment Resources
In light of the constitutional amendment being proposed to the Southern Baptist Convention to prohibit women pastors for a fourth year in a row, increased attention is being placed on women ministering and pastoring among Baptists. During this tense season, BWIM wants to offer you these resources.
These resources include practical support for women in ministry who might be feeling the weight of the SBC’s actions or who might be targeted, recommendations and encouragements for congregations who might be targeted and who want to express their support for women in ministry, and ideas for individuals to demonstrate their commitments to women’s equality among Baptists.
You will also find resources related to biblical support for women in ministry and places where BWIM is amplifying the message that women are equally valued by God and that God always has and always will call women to pastor, preach, and minister.
