Each March, churches across the Baptist family bring the BWIM Month of Advocacy to life in creative and courageous ways—lifting up the voices of women in ministry, expanding imagination for shared leadership, and embodying hope for a more just and equitable church. Many congregations also have fun with this month, finding joyful, playful, and celebratory ways to honor the gifts of women in ministry. Below you’ll find examples from communities who have preached, taught, celebrated, listened, and advocated with intention. These stories are offered as inspiration for your church’s plans this year. You are welcome to run with these ideas, adapt them for your context, or dream up entirely new ways for your congregation to join this movement and help build a Baptist world where women fully thrive.
